MISSION STATEMENT"Our mission is to help continue the dream and hard work of Linda Spurlin, to honor the trust and generosity of Eileen Gregory, and to educate our fellow man regarding the Alaskan Klee Kai... while honoring the hard work of the past, contributing to the betterment of the breed in the present, and conscientiously moving forward safeguarding the high qualities of the breed for the future." --Alicia & James Adams |
The Alaskan Klee Kai, which has the appearance of a miniature Alaskan Husky, is a registered breed of the United Kennel Club. It is a small canine variety that has captured the hearts of nearly everyone who has come to know them. Rocky Mountain Klee Kai is one of several national breeders who are privileged to bring to the public this incredibly special breed. Please read through our website and learn more about the Klee Kai - and thank you for visiting! |

The Alaskan Klee Kai is a new and rare breed. Much hard work and determination went into both the initial development of the breed and (later) bringing the breed to the lower 48 states and, eventually, the world. This hard work should be honored and carried forth. The Alaskan Klee Kai breed is recognized by the United Kennel Club (UKC) and (in the near future) should soon be recognized by the American Kennel Club (AKC). In order to obtain and maintain such recognitions, the unique qualities of the breed must be carefully maintained. This is done through closely monitored breedings. Obtaining an Alaskan Klee Kai is well worth the wait. Although they are not immediately available, you can be assured that the puppy you receive will reflect the exact standards established for this rare breed. Therefore, we ask that you be patient. Puppies are made available on a "first come first served" basis which is tracked on a waiting list.
